Inspire.Create Stamping Challenges Challenge 133

Hello and welcome to 2023! I am Karen Farquhar from Australia and today we are welcoming the new year in with an Inspire.Create Stamping Theme Challenge 'New to You'.

When thinking about this challenge there were a few things I could name that are new to me: firstly a new year which brings new Stampin' Up! catalogues and of course the most exciting of all my new baby Grandson. 

So I have used some new products from the new January-April mini catalogue and the new Sale-a-bration catalogue to create a scrapbook page for my new baby Grandson. These catalogues will both be available from the 5th January 2023.

I have been creating scrapbook albums for each of my Grandchildren since their birth which I present to them on their 18th Birthdays.

Hopefully I will live long enough to be able to complete Brody's for him.😏

I have compiled a product list for you as I am unable to publish photographs of the sneak peek products until the catalogues are released.

Inspire.Create Stamping Challenges Challenge 132

Hello and welcome to another Inspire.Create Stamping Challenge. I am Karen Farquhar from Australia. This week the design team have been set a colour challenge. The colours are Early Espresso, Petal Pink, rich Razzleberry and Granny Apple Green.

For my card I have given you a little sneak peek from the Mini Catalogue  January-April 2023 due for release on the 5th of January.

This cute little guy is from the Best Day stamp set and the Designer series paper is called Dandy Designs which is one of the papers available free during Sale-a-bration with a $180 purchase. This pack of papers include 48 sheets: 4 each of 12 double-sided designs. Sale-a-bration also commences on the 5th January, 2023 and runs until the 28th February 2023.

. 

 My granddaughter's Birthday falls on the 3rd January so I have designed this card for her. Being so close to Christmas she often requests a gift card or money so I have designed this card with a little pop-up carry bag inside to hold a gift card for her.

Inspire.Create. Stamping Challenges Challenge#131

Hello and welcome to another Inspire.Create Stamping Challenge. I am Karen Farquhar from Australia. This week our challenge is a sketch challenge.

I have used the beautiful Lights Aglow Suite for my creations today. I will admit this sketch did have me rattled and it took a lot of pondering to come up with these ideas. 

For my first two cards I have followed the sketch design.

And for my third card I have I changed the aspect of the sketch. From vertical to horizontal. When I saw this photo on my computer I thought I had left some random mini glue dots on the star reef but however when I went back to look at the actual card I remembered I had placed some Fine Sparkle Adhesive Gems around the reef. Very pretty in real life but they look like glue dots in my photograph. OOPs!

Inspire.Create. Stamping Challenges. Challenge130

Hello and welcome to another Inspire.Create Stamping Challenge. I am Karen Farquhar from Australia. This week our challenge is a blank canvas.

I have submitted a card I made for my son's birthday. I always find it hard to come up with masculine card ideas. 

For this one I have created a gate card using an ombre effect to stamp the 'Happy' image from the Biggest Wish stamp set in Mango Melody, Pumpkin Pie and Daffodil Delight inks. Starting from the lightest and graduating down the stamp to the darkest shade I have applied the inks with Sponge Daubers.  Using my Stamparatus I have stamped the image 3 times once for each colour. Unfortunately the Designer Series Paper has retired but I liked the idea of the woodgrain background. 

For the inside of the card I have stamped the schooner glass of beer from the Brewed For You stamp set.
