Inspire.Create. Stamping Challenges #041

Hello and welcome I am Karen Farquhar from Australia and thank you for joining me today for Inspire.Create Stamping Challenge #041.
Challenge #041is a Sketch Challenge

For this challenge I have kept my card simple. I have mounted a side strip of one of the papers from the Needlepoint Nook Designer Series Papers onto a Whisper White card stock base which I have embossed with dies from the Stitched Labels Dies. This is to coordinate with embroidery in the Designer Series Paper. These papers depict actual photographs of hand-stitched embroidery. Amazing!
The little daisies have been punched from Bitty Blooms Punch Pack. Just to continue my floral theme.

I have created this card for Cindy to welcome her to my team. Don't forget you too can share in the many benefits of becoming a demonstrator by joining my team just like Cindy.

What are the benefits in becoming a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator?
  • Exclusive designs (highly sought-after and not available in other stores),
  • The opportunity to start your own business for a minimal investment,
  • Great discounts (20% – 38%),
  • Generous rewards (free stamps, all expenses paid holidays, commissions, pre-order opportunities, gifts and mementos),
  • Amazing suppor(loads of online resources, a monthly magazine and of course wonderful Demonstrator Support staff are there for you to help you succeed),
  • The part I love the most is to become a member of a community of like-minded global demonstrators. I have meet and made so many lovely friends since becoming a Stampin' Up Demonstrator.

Inspire.Create Stamping Challenges Challenge #040

Hello and welcome I am Karen Farquhar from Australia and thank you for joining me today for the Inspire.Create Stamping Challenges #040.
Stamping Challenge #040 is a colour challenge and the colours Whisper White and Basic Black.

I cannot tell you how tempted I was to add a little bit of gold or silver embossing to this card but then that wouldn't be in keeping with the rules of the challenge.
For my card I have black heat embossed the gorgeous dandelion image from the Dandelion Wishes Stamp Set. This set has been a favourite of mine since it's release in the 2008-2009 annual catalogue, but I haven't had the occasion to use it up until now. The sentiments included in the set are just lovely.

I have also created a couple of coordinating gift cards.

The framed artwork below also is in keeping with the Black and White theme. I have stamped the balloon strings from the Balloon Celebration Stamp Set multiple times to create a dandelion image. Thus illustrating how to multi purpose your stamps rather than just using them for what they were designed. Always take a look at your stamps to see what else you can create with them. More bang for your buck as they say.
