Inspire.Create. Stamping Challenges Challenge #158|Inspiration Challenge

Hello and welcome to Inspire.Create. Challenge #158. I am Karen Farquhar an Australian Stampin' Up! Demonstrator.

This week we have been set an Inspiration Challenge. The challenge is to create a project from anything that appeals to you from Tammi Fite's gorgeous card.
You could choose to recreate the layout, the colour scheme, theme, stamped images... Whatever you wish
I liked the layout from Tammi's card so I created 3 cards for My Stamp-a-Stack class. Stamp-a-Stack is when you create a stack of cards in the same design at one sitting. I find them very handy to have when an unexpected or forgotten birthday pops up.
You can have them all the same but with my classes I like to change the colours and Designer Series Papers around for a bit of variety, as you will see below.

I have used the Let's Go Fishing Suite Collection from the Annual catalogue but swapped out the designs in the Designer Series Papers and the cardstock colours. By just changing those couple of elements gives the card a whole new look.
For the first card I used Misty Moonlight cardstock.

Mossy Meadow was the next colour I used in this card although the colour isn't showing well in the photograph.

And for the 3rd card I have used Boho Blue.

Thank you for dropping by today I hope you are inspired by my projects. Do you feel like you would like to join the Inspire.Create Stamping Challenge?
We really would love to see your creations. Note we need your projects submitted here by 10am. Sunday  (UK time).
Below are the products I have used for today's project.

Inspire.Create. Stamping Challenges: Theme Challenge|Christmas

Hello and welcome to another Inspire.Create Stamping Challenge. I am Karen Farquhar from Australia. This week we have been set a Christmas theme.
Wow with all the Christmas crafts I have been creating the biggest challenge was to decide which project to submit.

Over the years I have made an Advent Calendar box for each of my Grandchildren. Just to give them a bit of lead up fun until the big day.
In the past I have decorated the Stampin' Up! Christmas Countdown Kit. However Stampin' Up! have now retired the kits so I had to go to plan B and create my own design for my newest Grandson.

This Advent calendar is in a book format.
The cover is made with cardboard that I have kept from my Designer Series Paper Packaging. I never throw this away because it is perfect for mini scrapbook albums.
Cut 2 pieces of cardboard 18 x 25 cm (7.1" x 9") and one 6 x 25 cm ( 2.4" x 9.8")
Lay your pieces out with the smaller section between the two larger cardboard sections.
Leave a 5 millimetre gap between each section.

I wrapped the cardboard with 2 pieces of 30 x 30 cm (12" x 12") Basic White Cardstock adhering the overlapping edges of the cardstock together  to create a book cover.

Inside the book are 24 lidded boxes. The box dimensions are 5 x 5 x 2.5 cm (2" x 2"x 1")
Unfortunately I could only fit in 24 boxes so the little fellow will miss out Christmas Day. I am sure with all the excitement of the day he won't notice. Adhere the boxes to the inside cover.
My boxes are decorated with the Merry Bold & Bright Designer Series Paper from the Mini Catalogue. I chose this paper for it's beautiful, bright Christmas colours.
For an idea of what to fill the boxes with I used some small cars I found at the local supermarket, candy canes and chocolates. Having to keep in mind he is only one year old and the risk of him swallowing tiny objects.

I also created another Advent Calendar box for an older Granddaughter as she had been sharing one with her sister.
She is moving out to the west to work at a Grain Storage site until she starts her university degree next year. So I have made a box for her to take with her.

I don't know if using the Beary Christmas Designer Series Paper for her was a good idea as it will be extremely hot were she is in the lead up to Christmas. (over 40° F) I chose this paper as she loves animals. Maybe the ice flakes and polar bears might help her feel a little cooler.
I managed to find this new calendar kit on eBay so I felt very lucky when I found it.
Unfortunately some of the polar bears lost body parts when I made the finger holes so I fussy cut some bears from my second sheet of DSP and raised them with Stampin' Dimensionals to add interest to the scene.

I filled her boxes with Hershey nuggets decorated with the coordinating papers from the same DSP pack.
The die cuts are from the Wishes All Around Dies.

Inspire.Create. Stamping Challenges - Colour Challenge|#156

Hello and welcome to the Inspire.Create Stamping Challenge. I am Karen Farquhar from Australia. This week we have been set a colour challenge. The challenge colours being Moody Mauve, Boho Blue and Lemon Lolly.

These colours really did present a challenge for me. They are colours I would not usually combine together, however our design team have managed to create some beautiful cards with this combination.
My inspiration came from the Boho Blue Mini Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine available in the Online Exclusives section of my Online Store. I felt it was a good excuse to highlight this little gem.

I have used the Crafting with You Bundle from the 2022-2024 Annual catalogue. Love this set. Perfect for cards for our crafty friends and family. For the card above I have stamped and die-cut the Mini Stampin' Cut & Emboss machine in Boho Blue

Here I have a die-cut image of the Stampin' Up! Paper Trimmer and the Paper Snip Scissors.

And we even have a sewing machine for our sewing/quilting enthusiasts with some sewing notions. All stamped and die-cut from the Crafting with You Bundle. I have coloured some Iridescent Pearls with my coordinating Stampin' Blends to add some extra elements to my cards.

Thank you for dropping by today I hope you are inspired by my projects. Do you feel like you would like to join the Inspire.Create Stamping Challenge?
