Inspire.Create. Stamping Challenges Challenge #158|Inspiration Challenge

Hello and welcome to Inspire.Create. Challenge #158. I am Karen Farquhar an Australian Stampin' Up! Demonstrator.

This week we have been set an Inspiration Challenge. The challenge is to create a project from anything that appeals to you from Tammi Fite's gorgeous card.
You could choose to recreate the layout, the colour scheme, theme, stamped images... Whatever you wish
I liked the layout from Tammi's card so I created 3 cards for My Stamp-a-Stack class. Stamp-a-Stack is when you create a stack of cards in the same design at one sitting. I find them very handy to have when an unexpected or forgotten birthday pops up.
You can have them all the same but with my classes I like to change the colours and Designer Series Papers around for a bit of variety, as you will see below.

I have used the Let's Go Fishing Suite Collection from the Annual catalogue but swapped out the designs in the Designer Series Papers and the cardstock colours. By just changing those couple of elements gives the card a whole new look.
For the first card I used Misty Moonlight cardstock.

Mossy Meadow was the next colour I used in this card although the colour isn't showing well in the photograph.

And for the 3rd card I have used Boho Blue.

Thank you for dropping by today I hope you are inspired by my projects. Do you feel like you would like to join the Inspire.Create Stamping Challenge?
We really would love to see your creations. Note we need your projects submitted here by 10am. Sunday  (UK time).

Inspire.Create. Stamping Challenges Challenge 122

Hello and welcome to another Inspire.Create.Challenge. I am Karen Farquhar from Australia. This week we are celebrating the talent of not only a fellow Stampin' Up! demonstrator but also friend of mine Denita Wright-Smee. Our challenge was to CASE the designer, meaning:

Copy and Share Card/Copy and Share Everything”. If you see a card and there's something you just love about it, go ahead and copy and share what you create!

You can copy the whole card or just take elements from the card and create your own interpretation.

For my card I have used the 'Stack, Cut and Shuffle Technique'. If you like to mass produce cards this technique is perfect! I thought this technique would be a fun design for my next Stamp-a-Stack Class. You could do this with any of your Stampin' Up! Designer Series Paper (DSP) packs as they are all designed to coordinate beautifully.

I have used only 3 of the paper's designs to produce these cards and I have cut enough pieces for 15 cards in total. By flipping and mixing the paper designs I ended up with 3 different designs but by choosing coordinating base cardstock to layer on these the possibilities are endless.

Because I like to keep things simple I searched the internet with no success for metric measurements for these cards. I found that the people who had taken the trouble to convert the imperial measurements to metric had still made them to fit imperial measurement cardstock and I wanted to use the metric cardstock.
So I have created my own measurements.
I have used half a piece of metric cardstock and scored it at 10.5cm.
I wanted 2 borders so I have cut my mats at 14.5cm x 10.1cm & 14.1cm x 9.7cm.
My DSP pieces were cut as follows: 4.5cm x 13.1cm
                                                           4cm x 9cm
                                                           4cm x 3.7cm
I created a template with a piece of 13.7cm x 9.3cm cardstock to use as a guide when positioning the DSP pieces to my card front.

If you are wanting to try this technique Karen Titus has some beautiful step by step instructions on her page with imperial measurements.
My caravans were cut from Trees Lot Dies available for FREE with a $90AU purchase during our Sale-a-Bration promotion.

I hope you have gained some inspiration from my projects today.
