Inspire.Create. Stamping Challenges #175|Sketch Challenge

Hello and welcome to Inspire.Create Stamping Challenge #175. I am Karen Farquhar from Australia. This week we have my favourite challenge a Sketch Challenge. These are my favourite Challenges because the design work has been done for you and I love to see how other card makers interpret the sketch.

I have used Stampin' Up!'s At Take to the Sky Suit today and teamed it with coordinating Copper Clay cardstock for a very masculine card.

Inspire.Create. Stamping Challenges. Challenge130

Hello and welcome to another Inspire.Create Stamping Challenge. I am Karen Farquhar from Australia. This week our challenge is a blank canvas.

I have submitted a card I made for my son's birthday. I always find it hard to come up with masculine card ideas. 

For this one I have created a gate card using an ombre effect to stamp the 'Happy' image from the Biggest Wish stamp set in Mango Melody, Pumpkin Pie and Daffodil Delight inks. Starting from the lightest and graduating down the stamp to the darkest shade I have applied the inks with Sponge Daubers.  Using my Stamparatus I have stamped the image 3 times once for each colour. Unfortunately the Designer Series Paper has retired but I liked the idea of the woodgrain background. 

For the inside of the card I have stamped the schooner glass of beer from the Brewed For You stamp set.

Inspire.Create. Stamping Challenges. Challenge#99

 Hello and welcome to Inspire.Create Stamping Challenges #099. I am Karen Farquhar from Australia and we have a CASE the designer challenge for you today.

This gorgeous card has been created by Inspire.Create Stamping Challenges team leader Hannah McCurly using the Sweet Strawberry stamp set

I have CASED Hannah's design but have substituted the Words Of Cheer stamp set and the lovely Whimsy & Wonder Designer Series Paper both from our August-December 2021 Mini Catalogue.

I chose to use the colours from the Designer Series Paper as I think it is so pretty and a little unusual for Christmas cards. I stamped out the image from the stamp set and then fussy cut the flowers and leaves so I could arrange them around my sentiment. 

Having stamped out a few images I took to them with my paper snips.

I just couldn't bear to see the left over scraps go to waste. So I ended up creating 4 projects for my next month's Stamp Club.
