Inspire.Create Stamping Challenges Challenge 134

Hello and welcome to another Inspire.Create.Challenge. I am Karen Farquhar from Australia. This week we have been set a CASE the Designer challenge. The challenge card having been created by our challenge team member Verity Pursglove. I just love these cards and have been itching to create one of my own since I first saw Verity's.
For my submission I have used the Country Floral Lane Suite Collection from the new Stampin' Up! Mini Catalogue January-April 2023.
This is such a pretty suite. I always try to purchase the whole suit so when I sit down to create I know everything I have on hand will coordinate. Of course it isn't necessary to buy a whole suite as Stamping' Up! pride themselves on producing coordinating products but the suites do make the creating process so much easier.

To CASE Verity's card I have adhered strips of Designer Series Paper to a piece of window sheet and then using a circle die I have cut the circular shape. By then adhering Dimensionals behind the paper strips to raise the circle up it gives the illusion that the circle is floating. A simple stamped arrangement and sentiment were added to the side to complete the card.
Thank you for dropping by today I hope you are inspired by my project. Do you feel like you would like to join the The Inspire.Create. Stamping Challenges?

Inspire.Create. Stamping Challenges Challenge#131

Hello and welcome to another Inspire.Create Stamping Challenge. I am Karen Farquhar from Australia. This week our challenge is a sketch challenge.

I have used the beautiful Lights Aglow Suite for my creations today. I will admit this sketch did have me rattled and it took a lot of pondering to come up with these ideas.

For my first two cards I have followed the sketch design.

And for my third card I have I changed the aspect of the sketch. From vertical to horizontal. When I saw this photo on my computer I thought I had left some random mini glue dots on the star reef but however when I went back to look at the actual card I remembered I had placed some Fine Sparkle Adhesive Gems around the reef. Very pretty in real life but they look like glue dots in my photograph. OOPs!

Hello and welcome to another Inspire.Create.Challenge. I am Karen Farquhar from Australia. This week we have a colour challenge for you. Such bright and cheerful colours.

I have placed the singing mice on the front of a Double Z Fold Card.

Basic White cardstock 11cm x 9.2cm
Basic White cardstock 5.5cm x 5.2cm

Constructing
Stamp images on whisper white cards stock
Colour images with blends pens
Fussy cut images and adhere to 11cm x 9.2cm Basic White piece
Fold pieces on score lines to form x2 Z fold cards
Layer papers to folded cardstock
Adhere smaller Z fold card to large Z fold card. To do this apply adhesive to back of the right hand side of the smaller Z fold card. Position so you have an equal borders on left and right sides when card is closed. Then apply adhesive to the back of the left hand side of the smaller Z fold card and position on front of card.

Just for fun I stamped a couple of little cuties extra to create two coordinating 7.5cm x 7.5cm gift cards to fit our 7.6cm x 7.6cm envelopes.

Inspire.Create Stamping Challenges Challenge #106

Hello and welcome to another Inspire.Create.Challenge. I am Karen Farquhar from Australia. This week the design team have been set a colour challenge using the Stampin' Up! colours Cinnamon Cider, Crumb Cake and Early Espresso.

This colour palette is not a combination I would usually work with but I have dug deep and this is what I have come up with.

Using the Gingerbread & Peppermint Suite from the July-December Mini Catalogue I have pulled out the Cinnamon Cider coloured patterned paper from the Gingerbread & Peppermint Designer Series Paper pack and designed my cards to replicate the frosted gingerbreads we associate with Christmas.
For my first card I have stamped out the patterned star in the stamp set on basic white paper to create a piped icing sugar gingerbread.

The second card I have used my Blending Brush, Whisper White Craft ink and a die cut star from the Gingerbread Dies as a template to create the more subtle effect of icing sugar sprinkled onto the ginger bread.

This next card is my favourite a fun z fold card. The gingerbread shapes were stamped directly onto the card front panel.
Measurements are as follows:
Crumb Cake card stock 51/2" Scored at 21/8" and 41/4"
Early Espresso card stock 4" x 5" for first layer
Basic White card tock 23/4" x 5" for front stamped panel
Basic White 4 x 51/4" for the inside stamped panel.

And just for fun I have created some little sugar sprinkled  gingerbread shapes which would make delightful gift tags or just hanging decorations.
Would you like to join the challenge? Then pop on over and view the gorgeous creations by our team. We would love for you to join in the fun. Add your project to our gallery here.
