Inspire.Create Stamping Challenges Theme: Masculine Challenge #015

Hello and welcome. I am so excited as this week is my first week as a member of the Inspire.Create Challenges Design Team! I feel so privileged to be asked to join the team.
Inspire.Create Stampin' Challenges #015 has a Masculine Theme.

My eldest son is an excellent cook, a talent he definitely didn't inherit from me. Self taught he loves to cook for family and friends. Sunday baked dinner is his BBQ specialty, and if invited for a meal you can be sure the BBQ is fired up with a delicious aroma wafting up the driveway to greet you. Christmas dinner is a real treat and he has perfected his Grandmother's recipe for 'Snow Sauce' to pour over the Christmas pudding.

So what a perfect stamp set Apron of Love from the 2018 Occasions Catalogue is for him. I haven't made this as a Birthday card but a card just to let him know how amazingly clever I think he is.

I have been taught that it is good manners when visiting a persons home to bring a small gift. So I have made a 2" square box and attached the die cut apron pieces to the front and back of the box
to accommodate a small bottle of chilli relish for his BBQ meat.

Anyone who knows me knows that I love my Big Shot and these tiny little cooking utensils are so sweet I had to create a set of coordinating 4" x 4" cards. Just as an excuse to play with the die cuts.

After die cutting the little utensils for the note cards I noticed I was left with square negative die cuts so I have mounted them on 3" x 3" gift cards to add to my card stash.

A little apron tag completes the set.
