Sneak Peak

Hello and welcome! The weekend before last I was lucky enough to attend Onstage Melbourne 2017 and I am thrilled today to be able to share some of the new products coming in the soon to be released Occasions Catalogue for 2018.
One of the privileges of being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator is I am able to see new products first hand. Stampin' Up! are so generous they give us FREE products for attending Onstage in a product giveaway called 'Prize Patrol', plus we are able to pre-order new products ahead of time which won't be released to customers until January the 3rd.
There is however a way you can get your hands on these products early. If you were to join my team you too can order these products as part of your Starter Kit. It's such a great time to join.

This weeks's Global Design Project #GDP114 is a design challenge so I have decided to do a little 'Sneak Peak' for you.

I have used the gorgeous Designer Series Paper Sweet Soiree to die cut the hearts for the design, teaming it with coordinating Flirty Flamingo Cardstock and silver embossing.
The only thing I changed on the design was the position of the greeting.

Sarah Douglas, our CEO, has coined the phrase
"Love it, Live it, Share it"
for next year's theme and I am sure I won't have any trouble doing that. With the coming year being Stampin' Up's 30th anniversary there is the promise of lots more exciting promotions on offer for us all.

The Silver Mini Gable Boxes are another welcome inclusion in the Occasions Catalogue.

I have created a tag with the coordinating framelits to decorate and to attach to the gable box.

Here is a little glimpse of whats to come from the display boards at Onstage featuring the Sweet Soiree Suit

Thank you for joining me today. For more inspiration and great projects pop on over to Global Design Project  page.
Until next time happy stamping.

Inspire.Create. Stamping Challenges 005

This week's Inspire.Create.Stamping Challenge is a sketch design.

I have used the stamp set Merry Little Labels for my sketch challenge.
This versatile set coordinates with our 2 1/4" Circle Punch, the new Everyday Label Punch and our Laying Ovals Framelits Dies. However I have used a circle from our Stitched Shapes Framelits and Layering Circle framelits with mine.

Stamped in Cherry Cobber ink I have then re-stamped the image in garden green on a piece of scrap cardstock, fussy cut the holly leaves and then added a touch of bling with some punched out red glimmer paper for the berries.
The striped paper is the Be Merry Designer Series Paper from the annual catalogue.

If you happened to visit the Penrith Papercraft festival two weekends ago and purchased a catalogue sample bag from our Stampin' Up! stall you would have received a gift of a packet of Card Candy in your sample bag.

These card candy packs I also created with the Merry Little Labels stamp set. The tags in the packs were designed to be added to projects such as scrapbook pages, cards as I have done above or simply used as gift tags.

Thank you for visiting me today. I hope you are inspired by the projects I have shown you today. Pop on over to the Inspire.Create. Stamping Challenges website for more inspiration.
Until next time Happy Stamping.

Christmas in the Making

When the stamp set Christmas in the Making arrived in the post I couldn't wait to start colouring the gorgeous 50's inspired images in the set. This little trio of ladies remind me so much of my childhood with my Mum in her starched dresses and aprons not a hair out of place preparing for Christmas. These markers are dual-tipped and come in 12 exclusive Stampin' Up! colours, each with a light and dark shade.

I have used Cherry Cobbler, Pool Party and Old Olive

The Stampin' Blends markers make it so easy to blend colours and Clear Wink Of Stella accents the snow and the fur.

I have also stamped some holly leaves from the Carols of Christmas stamp set and added some punched out circles of red glimmer paper to add a little bling to the cards.

I hope you liked today's Christmas in the Making cards. As always, if you have any questions about the cards I create or techniques I use, feel free to contact me via email. Until next time happy stamping.

Global Design Project 113 Colour Challenge

Hello and welcome! I feel very privileged to have been fortunate enough to be chosen as a guest designer for the Global Design Project Colour Challenge.

The colours chosen for the challenge are Cherry Cobbler, Pool Party and Pear Pizzaz.

These colours are close to my heart as they are the colours of my little crafty webpage elf. Here he is to say hello.

For the Colour challenge I have used the Tags and Trimmings Bundle to create a gift card holder. If you were to turn the stocking over you would discover it is actually a pillow box. Perfect for a small gift, gift card or chocolate.

These thinlit dies are so versatile if you cut 2 of the pillow box dies you can create a pillow box by itself which would be suitable for gift giving all year round. With this little box I have double punched out the centre with the Everyday Label Punch and adhered a piece of Window Sheet to the inside to reveal the boxes contents.

Or by placing the cutting edge of the stocking thinlit just left of your folded cardstock you could take your stocking to the next level and create a card.

The pocket on the inside was made by trimming the pillow box sides and bottom edge back and scoring 1/4" around the 3 trimmed sides, folding along the score lines and attaching to the inside of the card with Tear and Tape.
I twisted some pipe cleaners together for my candy cane and added a chocolate Santa.

I think these little stockings would be a perfect gift for family, friends or as teachers thank you gifts. The Trim Your Stocking set of dies come with so many thinlits, 19 in total, and can be purchased separately or as a bundle with a coordinating stamp set Tags and Trimmings. Or you can purchase the stamp set separately as well. Just click on the pictures at the bottom of this page and they will take you straight to my Online Store.

Photographed here is the set of projects ready for Christmas gift giving.
Thank you for visiting me today. Pop on over to the Global Design Project page to see other many more cards the very talented stampers have made for this challenge.
Happy stamping.
