Global Design project #GDP092

Global Design Project #GDP092 is CASE the oh so talented designer Steffi Helmschrott

http://www.global-design-project.com/2017/06/global-design-project-092-case-designer.html

Steffi has used the stamp set 'Jar of Love' for her design which can be purchased with coordinating  'Everyday Jars Framelits'.

Every year Stampin' Up! dedicate a new stamp set in their Annual Catalogue to Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) and with every sale of this stamp set $3AUD is donated to RMDHC.
Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) help to keep families close to each other whilst their children are receiving medical treatment away from home. So if you purchase this set you know you will be helping this wonderful organization. To date Stampin' Up have raised $1.5 million.

I have chosen to use this years RMHC stamp set 'Sharing Sweet Thoughts' for #GDP092. This set also coordinates with the 'Everyday Jars Framelits'.
However instead of using the jar in this set I have stamped and water coloured the pot from the 'Crafting Forever' stamp set to hold the luscious strawberries.

While I had the stamp sets on my craft table I thought I would have a play and see what else I could create

Using the 'Jar of Love' stamp set and coordinating 'Everyday Jars Framelits'. I have made some sweet little gift tags that I will probably include in my customer orders next month.

While I was playing I made some little packets containing berry flavoured M&M's. Which could be a hit at school stalls or just little gifts just for the sake of it.

I also received news of a family member being hospitalized so I made up a gift package for her.

A friend of our family preserves his home grown strawberries in jars that are a perfect match to the jar in 'Sharing Sweet Thoughts ' stamp set so a matching gift tag was a must.

Global Design Project #GDP091

Global Design Project #GDP091 is a theme challenge the theme being wheels.

http://www.global-design-project.com/2017/06/global-design-project-091-theme.html

For this challenge I have created a Memories and More page of my son's passion for dirt bike riding and a Twisted Gift Card Holder with the 'One Wild Ride' stamp set.

The Memories and More page depicts my sons love of getting out on his friend's farm at West Wyong, revving up his bike, stirring up the mud and the pleasure of relaxing by a good campfire of a night. I think he is really a country boy at heart.

For the accompanying card I have made a Twisted Gift Card with the unusual Colour combinations of Old Olive, Cajun Craze, Basic Black and Whisper White. I like these colours for masculine cards. The inside reveals a pocket to hold a gift card or some cash for the recipient.

The lush box hedge background to the photograph of the card accentuates the vast climate differences in our country to the dry conditions just a few hours drive away and the battle our Australian farmers have against our weather extremes.

The instructions I used for the card are as follows.

Thank you for visiting me today if you want a lot more inspiration pop on over the Global Design Project website http://www.global-design-project.com/2017/06/global-design-project-091-theme.html  to see the many other stamping creations.

Happy Stamping!

Global design Project #GDP090

Global Design Project #GDP090 is a Sketch Challenge

http://www.global-design-project.com/2017/06/global-design-project-090-sketch.html

I purchased a gift bag from a local department store to hold my Granddaughter's Birthday present and I wanted to make a card to coordinate with the bag.

Foxy Friends stamp set was perfect and the new Wood Textures Designer Series Paper matched the wood grain effect the bag designers had used on their fox.

I have changed some of the #GDP090 design but kept the off centred circle, the heart and moved the sentiment to the opposite side.

As my Granddaughter is a bit of a book worm I have also made a matching magnetic book mark. I did this by cutting my Whisper White cardstock 26cm x 5cm, scored and folded at the 13cm mark then punched both 5cm ends with the Banner Triple Punch. I then applied self adhesive magnetic sheets trimmed to size to the inside of the 2 folded sides and decorated the outside of the book mark with coordinating paper and a fox design.

All Stampin' Up! products used in my projects are available at my Online Store. Just click on the product photographs below and they will take you to my store.

Happy stamping!

Global Design Project #089

Global Design Project #089 is a Colour Challenge. We are using the colours Old Olive, Basic Black and Calypso Coral
http://www.global-design-project.com/2017/05/global-design-project-089-colour.html

I have chosen the Daisy delight Stamp Set with it's coordinating Daisy Punch and the Designer Series Paper Delightful Daisy to create two thank you gift cards for two of my friends who are always there for me even though they have their own life troubles. I can always count on them when I need help and on their  invaluable creative knowledge.

I found it more successful to stamp the daisy centre first on a scrap of Whisper White cardstock then sponge in a circular motion around the centre before punching the daisy out.

Don't forget to pop on over to the Global Design Project for more inspirational ideas from some of the worlds most creative stampers.

Thank you for visiting me today. Below I have included a list of supplies for these cards with links straight to my online store.
