I"m In Love!

Hello and welcome! Yes I am in love! In love with the Painted with Love Suite in Stampin' Ups! 2018 Occasions catalogue. The whole suite is gorgeous the Sure Do Love You stamp set and it's coordinating dies, the Gold Glitter Flakes, Love Mini Tinsel Trim Combo Pack and the Painted with Love Specialty Designer Series Paper with it's beautiful painted images and brushed gold accents is something to die for.

What better way to highlight the suite than with this weeks Inspire. Create. Stamping Challenge Theme: Love

I sat down to make a card and ended up with a 2 cards, 3 gift cards, a chocolate holder and a gift box. I just couldn't help myself.

This little chocolate container was one of the first class projects I taught 6 years ago when I first became a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator. Thinking it would be perfect for this suite I went searching for my pattern and of course couldn't find it so I have had to make it from scratch.

This is what is hiding under the cover. If you would like the measurements they are as follows.
Cut the long side of a piece of A4 Melon Mambo Cardstock at 9cm.
Score the long side at 1cm, 10cm, 11cm, 20cm.
Fold and burnish score lines.
Cut Designer Series Paper 8cm x 8cm for front panel. Cut 2 pieces Whisper White Cardstock for  the inside panels 8cm x 8cm.
Decorate as you wish for any occasion by swapping out the stamp set, die shapes, designer series paper and cardstock to match the treat you want to give eg. Christmas, Easter, Mother's Day.

This cute little box was made with the Sure Do Love You Framelit Dies. The box could contain treats but the Narrow Cards and Envelopes included as part of the suite fit neatly in the box as well.

Heart Happiness is another stamp set available in the 2018 Occasions catalogue which can be used in conjunction with the Painted With Love Suite.

Who doesn't love Pandas? This little fellow is a member of the Party Panda stamp set you can have for FREE with every $90 purchase plus postage during Sale-A-Bration.
All the products I have used today are available from my online store.

Cool Treats

Hello and welcome! Phew is it hot here on the South Coast of New South Wales, 42 degrees as I write this post. When I saw the gorgeous colour combination for the Global Design Project #GDP121 I thought of summer and what a better delicious summer treat than ice cream. So for this week's challenge I have used the Cool Treats Stamp Set and it's coordinating framelits Frozen Treats for my projects.

For my first project I have made a Z-card. I have used the sprinkles stamp to create my own background then die cut ice creams and adhered them to the front panel with Stampin' Dimensionals. The link for the cutting instructions for this card can be found here

At this moment I am waiting to hear news of the birth of my newest Grandchild. Bub's due date is next Tuesday and Mum is in the early stages of labour so it could be at any tick of the clock (or not).

What do you do to fill in anxious hours? You stamp of course! So I have created a huge mess in my craft room and continued with the GDP colour challenge.

Of course I couldn't ignore the products in the newly released Occasions Catalogue. The Lots to Love Box Dies and a packet of the new Narrow Note Cards and Envelopes where still sitting on my desk, left over from my Friday night Stamp Club, so I set about making a box containing coordinating cards using the Cool Treats Stamp Set.

To decorate the outside I made a shaker box containing the Iridescent Sequins .

For this card I have used the baby wipe technique to give the ice-cream a yummy gelato look.

Blue Icy Poles, or Ice Blocks as we call them, were something new and a real novelty when I was a kid. A really cool summer treat.

I have used the baby wipe technique again for the 'Happy Birthday' sentiment continuing to use the sprinkles stamp for the background.

The little wafers on top of the ice creams are die cut cones trimmed to size.

I know there have been a number of inquires as to the use of the notch dies in the Lots to Love Box dies. I thought you may find this helpful. The 'Wendys' gift voucher might be appropriate to go with the ice cream theme.

Thank you for calling by today and I hope you have found inspiration from my projects. I think sometimes with the release of our new catalogues we tend to forget about the many treasures in our main catalogue so I think it is always good to go back and revisit them.

Feel free to visit my online store and don't forget that Sale-a-Bration is in full swing. A great way to earn FREE products and cross those must haves off that never ending wish list.

Until next time Happy Stamping.

Sale-A-Bration has arrived!

Global Design project #GDP120 is a CASE the designer Krista Frattin. For those that don't know what CASE means it is to Copy And Selectively Edit another persons work.

I have decided to use the cute little panda bears this week from the Sale-a-Bration stamp set Party Pandas.
To CASE Krista's design I have positioned the main image to the left of the card front, used designer series paper for the background and kept the sentiment 'celebrate'.
The Designer Series Paper I have used is Picture Perfect and the turquoise glimmer paper used for the sentiment is from the Myths & Magic Suite both in the new Occasions catalogue. The Balloon Honeycomb Embellishments fit perfectly into the the stamped balloon image to add dimension to my card.

This adorable stamp set of 3 panda bears is proving to be a very popular Sale-a-Bration item and is FREE with every $90AUD purchase. Learn more about Sale-a-Bration freebies HERE.

I have stamped another panda and randomly stamped the confetti from the same stamp set to decorate the inside of the card.

Thank you for visiting me today. I hope you are inspired by my creation and for more inspiration hop on over to the Global Design Project website

Until next time happy stamping.
