Inspire.Create Stamping Challenges: Challenge #085 Theme:3D

Hello and welcome to Inspire.Create Stamping Challenges #085. I am Karen Farquhar from Australia and we have a 3D challenge for you today.

I love to make 3D items because I think there is so much more you can achieve with Stampin' Up! products apart from card making. Whether they be gift boxes, framed projects, table decor or something pretty for a gift presentation.

I always try to include a 3D item in my monthly Stamp Club projects and the desk top calendar was the item for February. Usually some form of calendar would be included in my January class but due to COVID restrictions my Face to Face class could not go ahead in January.
I have created 2 styles of calendars using the adorable Snail Mail Designer Series Paper.
The measurements for the above design The Easel Calendar are as follows:
  • Blushing Bride Cardstock 10.8cm x 28cm (4-1/4" x 11"), scored along long side at 7cm & 14cm (2-3/4" & 5-1/2")
  • Blushing Bride Cardstock 10.8cm x 14cm for calendar panel (4-1/4" x 5-1/2")
  • Designer series paper 10. 3cm x 13.5 cm 2 pieces (4" X 5-1/4")
  • Blushing Bride Cardstock for Post-It© Note base 8.3cm x 8.3 cm (3-1/4" x 3-1/4")
  • Basic White Cardstock for Post-It Note© cover 3.1cm x 10.1cm (3-1/8" x 4")
  • Blushing Bride Cardstock 6cm x 8cm for calendar base (3" x 3")
  • DSP for pen loop 2.5cm x 10cm (1" x 4")
  • Snail Mail designer series Paper to fussy cut snails and mushrooms
I like the squiggly paper DSP background on this one as that is what I usually do while I am sitting at my desk trying to write.

My next two designs a probably a little more complicated as you need to form a small box which you attach to the front of the stand to hold your sticky note pad.

These are the measurements for the Mini Desk Calendar
  • Cardstock measuring 9.5cm x 26.6cm (3-3/4" x 10-1/2") Score at 10.1cm, 20.3cm, 22.8cm, 25.4cm  (4", 8", 9", 10")
  • Cardstock measuring 12cm x 18cm (4-3/4" x 7") Score 10cm and 11.4cm  (4" and 4-1/2")
  • Designer Series Paper 9cm x 5.7cm  (3-1/2" x 2-1/4")
  • Designer Series Paper 9cm x 7.6cm (3-1/2" x 3")
Fold along the score lines to form a mountain valley fold on longer Cardstock piece this forms your base
Form a box with the smaller piece of Cardstock. You will need to trim you sides down to the box edge.

Inspire.Create Stamping Challenges Challenge #084

Hello and welcome to Inspire.Create Stamping Challenges #084. We have a colour challenge for you today. Blushing Bride, Rococo Rose Sahara Sand and Basic Black. Such a lovely combination.

I have chosen to use the very popular Stamp Set Snailed It for my contribution today. The Designer Series Paper Oh So Ombre is actually one of the FREE products you can earn during Sale-A-bration. So pretty.

The colours for the challenge reminded me a little of Valentine's Day colours so I have designed my card as a Valentines Day card. But it could be an all occasion card. I definitely won't be giving mine as a Valentine card today as my husband is about the most unromantic man ever born. 😂💗

Thank you for visiting me today. I hope you have been inspired by my project. Please you are more than welcome to enter your projects for the Inspire.Create Stamping Challenge here. We really would love to see your creations. Note we need your projects submitted by 10am. (UK time) Sunday.

Inspire.Create. Stamping Challenges #083. I am Karen Farquhar from Australia and today's challenge has the Theme: 'Cute Critters'.

There are so many cute critters in Stampin' Ups! collection of stamp sets But I have chosen the critters from the Zoo Globe stamp set for my submission.

I love it when Stampin' Up! release a stamp set that coordinates with dies for other stamp sets in the catalogue and these dies Snow Globe Scenes do, the Still Scenes stamp set. It just makes your dies so much more versatile. More bang for your buck so to speak.

Inspire.Create Stamping Challenges Challenge #082

Hello and welcome back. I am Karen Farquhar from Australia and
I have had a small break over Christmas and New Year to recoup while Inspire.Create Stamping Challenges has been in recess.
But we are back now and this month brings my Granddaughter's 3rd Birthday so for Challenge #082 I couldn't resist playing with the new Ice Cream Corner Suite the first new goodies on my wish list from the new January-June 2021 Mini Catalogue.

Maddy's favourite colour is Yellow or "Lellow" as she pronounces it, hence the Daffodil Delight card base. I have teamed it with the gorgeous Ice Cream Corner Designer Series Paper to create a card I hope she will love. I coloured some
Shimmery White Cardstock with a Water Painter to create a soft water colour wash, then punched the ice creams out with the coordinating Ice Cream Cone Punch.

I couldn't resist creating a card for my Nephew's birthday as well with this bright suite suitable for all ages. His card is in Bermuda Blue for boys.

Thank you for visiting me. I hope you have been inspired by the projects I have presented. Please enter your projects for the Inspire.Create Stamping Challenge here.

Inspire.Create Stamping Challenges #080

Hello and welcome to todays
Inspire. Create. Stamping Challenges #080. I am Karen Farquhar from Australia and Inspire.Create. Stamping Challenges are inviting inspired by Anna's gorgeous poppy card. Anna has used the Peaceful Moments Bundle to create this card.

For my card I have substituted the poppy image for dear old Santa.
I have die cut a rectangle and positioned Santa in it's corner. The background to the card was sponged with Night of Navy and Tuxedo Black Memento then sprintz the card stock with water and Wink of Stella to represent the night sky.
So I have CASEd the layout of Anna's card as well as the colour combination to create a very different card.

I have created 3 different cards with this one stamp set just to show that with different colours and paper you can create a variety of different cards with just one set

I think we can all relate to these 2 little fellows. The little elf getting himself in a tangle with all his Christmas preparations and the snowman drinking something he shouldn't have and suffering the consequences. OOPs!

All 3 images from the same stamp set Don't Stop Believing'.

Thank you for visiting me. We will be having a little break from Inspire. Create Stamping Challenges for a while so I hope you will join in for this one.
