Global Design Project GDP#098

Global Design Project #098 is a Sketch Challenge

For #GDP098 I have chosen to use the You're Priceless stamp set along with the Eclectic Layers Thinlits and Naturally Eclectic Designer Series Paper. Even though the Thinlits and DSP are part of the Naturally Eclectic Suite they are also designed to coordinate beautifully with this stamp set.
To make this card I have die cut the diamonds and added them to the banners in the GDP design to create an Engagement card. The sentiments in this stamp set could lend themselves to any type of occasion or just to give to someone you feel needs a pat on the back.

I thought this very sweet little Gemstone Box containing handmade diamond shaped chocolates would match perfectly with the card. This little box was designed by the brilliant Sam Hammond and it comes together very simply with the envelope punch board. You can find Sam's YouTube instructions here.

Global Design Project #GDP097 Colour Challenge

http://www.global-design-project.com/2017/07/global-design-project-097-colour.html
Hello and welcome to my webpage. This weeks Global Design Challenge #GDP097  is a colour challenge and I have used the stamp set Crafting Forever. With images of our paper snips, an eraser, a twine-wrapped wooden clothes peg, a container of brushes and other tools, fun sentiments including a Stampin' Up! copyright stamp which fulfills our angel policy the Crafting Forever stamp set is a perfect set for all types of crafters.

After stamping in Archival Black onto Shimmery White paper I then coloured my images with Crumb Cake, Wild Wasabi and Berry Burst using an Aqua Painter brush. (I think my camera thought that the green looked more like Lemon Lime Twist but I have used Wild Wasabi)

While I had the stamp set out I went ahead and made a couple of gifts for new customers using the same colour combinations.

Then while I was on a roll I made gift tags to add to my Stamp Club gifts for this month.

I hope you have gained some inspiration from my projects today.

Global Design Project #GDP096 Case the Designer Tanja Kolar

http://www.global-design-project.com/2017/07/global-design-project-096-case-designer.html

Eeny, Meeny, Miny, Moe

With the news of a new baby on the way and the parents wanting to keep the baby's gender a surprise I thought I would be prepared and design a card suitable for both genders.

This week's Global Design Project #GDP096 Case the Designer Tanja Kolar gave me the perfect design for my baby cards and a chance to use this very cute Little One stamp set.
I have chosen to change the design of my cards a little by using the oval framelits and adding a spray of flowers to the right upper corner instead of the greeting tucked under the right lower side in Tanja's design. I felt the design looked more balanced with the tepee stamp I have used.

Boy?

Or Girl?

I have gold embossed the images in the stamp set then fussy cut them I then mounted them on two oval die cuts and the gorgeous Bundle of Love Specialty Designer Series Paper, so pretty. I am in the process of creating a wedding album  and baby albums with this designer series paper which I will share with you when they are complete.

Thank you for visiting my website today I would love you to say hello in the comments section below.

July Stamp Club

July's Stamp Club ladies set to work creating some gorgeous projects with the Coffee Break Suite

This is such a cool suite. The stamped images coordinate beautifully with the framelits in coffee cups of all sizes. There is even a tiny framelit to cut a coffee cup image from the beautiful Coffee Break  DSP papers plus a framelit to make a cute corrugated coffee cup sleeve.

I have used the colours in the coordinating Coffee Break DSP for the projects which were a Z-fold card and a gift card holder.

The sleeve of the coffee cup slips off to reveal a greeting and a place to attach a gift card.
I have made these projects for a coffee lover friend who I often meet up with for a coffee and a chin wag.

Another project is the decorated coffee cups using the Café Break DSP with a coordinating gift tag made with the framelits. Filled with cappuccino flavoured chocolates these would make a yummy gift ideal for both a male or female.
If you would like to join my Stamp Club it runs the third Friday of every month. I have one vacancy for the evening club and a few available for the daytime one. It is FREE with a $25 order plus postage. You can email me for details kackles355@gmail.com for details.
