Inspire.Create. Stamping Challenges Challenge #178 Autumn|Halloween

Hello and welcome to another Inspire.Create Stamping Challenge. I am Karen Farquhar from Australia. This week we have been set the theme challenge Autumn|Halloween.

I was really thrilled when this challenge was offered. In Australia we don't celebrate Halloween as much as other countries do, however Stampin' Up! always release the most irresistible Halloween products. The challenge gave me a good excuse to purchase a few.
Firstly I have submitted a card for the challenge using the Potions and Spells bundle. My background die is from the Wintery Tree Tops die set.

I have also created some cute little Halloween treat boxes with the cauldron die from the Potions and Spells Dies. These will be for my grandchildren.

And while I had all the goodies out on my craft table I went ahead and created a very simple Scrapbook Layout with the Halloween Spells Designer Series Paper.

Thank you for dropping by I hope you are inspired by my projects. Do you feel like you would like to join the Inspire.Create Stamping Challenge?
We really would love to see your creations. Note we need your projects submitted here by 10am. Sunday  (UK time). Below are the products I have used for today's project.

Inspire.Create Challenge 128

Hello and welcome to another Inspire.Create Stamping Challenge. I am Karen Farquhar from Australia. This week the design team have been set a colour challenge. The colours are Basic Black, Basic Grey, Gorgeous Grape and Pumpkin Pie. These colours just screamed Halloween to me.

I have created some projects using the fun Scary Cute Bundle for my submission today.

My first card is actually a CASE of a card created by Brian King. Brian has used a strip of cropped Halloween Street Specialty Designer Series Paper, stamped a sentiment along the line of the paper and added a fun focal image of a little ghost. I have showcased the trick or treating small boy on a black circle and a larger circle to add space between the boy and the bold stripes along the edge. The DSP Brian has used is now retired so I ruled Gorgeous Grape and Basic Gray lines between the strips of our sparkly black and orange Glitter Washi Tape instead. The white space on the top of this card balances out the heavy strips on the base of the card.

I was itching to add some green to these colours so I have created another card with the cute Frankenstein Monster image from the stamp set in Parakeet Party.

My little fairy princes card could also be a birthday card for a special girl. To create the blended colours on the images I inked my stamp up with the lighter colour and then used a dauber sponge to add the darker colour to the edges. The aim was to depict the Trick or Treaters either walking from darkness to light or vice a versa.

This cute little box was created using instructions from the very clever Benda Quintana.
Thank you for dropping by today. Feel like you would like to join the Inspire.Create Challenge?

Inspire.Create Stamping Challenges Theme: Spooky

Hello and welcome to another Inspire.Create Stamping Challenge. I am Karen Farquhar from Australia. This week the design team have been set a Theme challenge the challenge being 'Spooky'.

I was flattered to be asked to provide a display for Louse Sharp's Stamping By the Sea Craft Retreat I was attending this year. I thought it would be a great opportunity to create the scrapbook page of my Granddaughter I have had in the back of my mind since last Halloween. I also went ahead and created some cards and 3D items for the display. All very convenient for this theme of 'Spooky'.

The spooky house is the stamped image from Sweet Gingerbread Bundle Pg.20 of the July-December Mini catalogue. I trimmed some of the roofline away to achieve the shape I was aiming for. The pumpkin is cut from the Celebrate Everything Host Gift Paper, the lollies (sweets) end papers I cut with the Penguin Builder Punch. Some lollies are hand drawn or stamped from the Sweet Gingerbread stamp set.
I had to print the titles from my computer or die-cut them with my ScanNCut machine.

My next group of cards have been created with the Bewitching Bundle also in the July-December 2022 Mini catalogue pg.57.
So cute.

This devious little witch is from the Best Witches stamp set. Loved using the Glitter Washi Tape pg.57 of the catalogue.

Below is a gatefold card held in place with a belly band. Stamped images are from the Scary Cute Stamp set.

And a some of 3D items I have used for my display.

I found the pattern for the witches shoe on Pinterest.

I always fall in love with the Halloween stamp sets Stampin' Up! produce each year. However in Australia we don't send out a lot of Halloween cards so I was thrilled to have an excuse to play with the Halloween goodies from this year's Mini Catalogue.
Thank you for dropping by today. Feel like you would like to join the Inspire.Create Stamping Challenge?
