Happy Easter and welcome. For Inspire.Create Stamping Challenges #014 we have a sketch challenge.
As soon as I saw the sketch I had a light bulb moment - a great Scrapbook Page Design. Well maybe or was I just itching for an excuse to have a Nana brag about my newest little Granddaughter, Madelyn?
Anyway I couldn't resist using this design for my scrapbook page of her. I love this photograph. That oh so worried look on her sweet little face is so her.
I have tried to stay with the original sketch, however I had to adjust the layout a little to suit a larger canvas and change the position of the heart.
So as not to disappoint the card makers I have included cards as well using the challenge's sketch, a different stamp set, Happiest of Days but same supplies.
I wanted a fine Melon Mambo mat border for my label. So I used a method I learnt when I first started stamping. I die cut 3 labels the same size one Whisper White and two Melon Mambo, the Whisper White for stamping. Then I cut the Melon Mambo die cut labels into halves and adhered them to the back of my white die cut label spreading the pieces to form a thin border.
My second card is not the same layout but I have used the same stamp set and colour combination.
Plus of course some gift tags because this stamp set is just so cute. Notice I have created the tags also with the Lots of Labels Framelits by just passing my cardstock just through the first half of the Framelit with my Bigshot.
Thank you for calling by today. I hope you have been inspired. For more inspiration hop on over to the Inspire.Create Stamping Challenges webpage.
Enjoy your Easter and God bless.
