Global Design Project #GDP104

Global Design Project for this week is CASE the Designer Alison Okamitsu

I needed to create a Confirmation card for my Granddaughter, Molly and was racking my brains as to which stamp set to use.
Then light bulb moment!
The little church edgelit in the Hearts Come Home Bundle
Although featured in the Holiday catalogue as a Christmas set the Hearts Come Home Bundle could be used for many occasions such as Christenings, weddings or
as a welcoming card for a new neighbour. Just to name a few.

For my card I have changed the orientation of the oval shape to accommodate the church steeple but have tried to keep to the basic layout of Allison's lovely card.

I have also made a Christmas card and some sweet little tags with vellum backing which would be a pretty way to adorn a gift for someone special.

Listed below are the products I have used, You can visit my online store any time day and night and you don't even have to change out of your pyjamas.
Thank you for dropping by and happy stamping.

Global Design Project GDP#099

Hello thank you for dropping by today the Global Design Project this week has a wedding/ anniversary  theme.

http://www.global-design-project.com/2017/08/global-design-project-099-theme.html

With the growing  popularity of  'Giving Trees' these days rather than purchasing household items for the bride and groom I thought a handmade card with an insert for money or a gift voucher would show a bit of thought and care had gone into the gift giving rather than just money in an envelope.

I cut my cardstock to the dimensions of the money being inserted into the card with the cardstock folded around the notes to make a wallet. I then used the gorgeous Detailed Floral Thinlits  to die cut along of the shorter edge of the whisper white cardstock. A piece of Silver Foil Sheet carefully adhered to the back of the floral die cut gave the gift/money card holder an elegant feel. A length of our 1/8" silver ribbon and a small gift tag embossed with a silver sentiment complete the very simple but elegant card.

I then went a step further and made coordinating DVD holders for storage of the Bride and Groom's Wedding Day DVD.

The Wedding DVD holders were made in the same fashion but to the measurement of a DVD disk.

All the products used in my projects are pictured below. If you click on the photos a link will take you straight to my online store.

Thank you for dropping by today. For more great projects visit  the Global Design Project page.
