Global Design GDP175 Project Theme: Down The Garden Path

Hello and welcome. This weeks Global Design Project challenge has the theme 'Down the Garden Path'.

A brand new stamp set called Painted Seasons arrived in the post this weekThis beautiful stamp set along with it's coordinating Designer Series Paper will be part of Stampin' Up's! 2nd release of Sale-A-Bration products available as a bundle for free with every $180 purchase as from the 15th February, 2019.

It is my daughter-in-law's Birthday this week and if you take a walk down her garden path you will find a spectacular array of all kinds of succulents in varying colours, shapes and sizes. She has a passion for them so to use this succulent stamp and DSP from the bundle for her Birthday card was a no brainer for me.
The stamps are of distinctive design which means the stamp adds the tones and shading for you adding depth to your stamped image. To add a multicolour effect I have sponged the centre of the stamp with another colour before stamping.

Thank you for visiting me today. I hope you find inspiration from my projects. For even more inspiration pop on over to the Global Design Project page here.

Inspire.Create Stamping Challenges: Challenge #036

Hello and welcome I am Karen Farquhar from Australia and thank you for joining me for the Inspire.Create Stamping Challenge #036. Today's challenge is to create a project with the gorgeous Sale-A-Bration products on offer at the moment.

With so many Sale-A-Bration items I found it difficult to pick one for this challenge. I ended up choosing the Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper and teamed it with the Organdie Ribbon Combo Pack.

For my projects I thought I would get started on my Mother's Day cards. I always like to give my daughter, daughters-in-law, sisters and nieces a little gift for Mother's Day so I thought I would get an early start and create some little tea light boxes with coordinating cards with this lovely butterfly DSP print. The sentiment is from the Part of My Story Stamp Set another Sale-A-Bration item available.

Sale-A-Bration products have been so popular they have been flying off the shelves with the organdie ribbon sold out! But the good news is more will be arriving mid February. So you won't miss out. If you would like to earn a limited edition Sale-A-Bration item just purchase $90 worth of product not including postage and you will receive a Sale-A-Bration item of your choice.

Measurements for the tea light box are as follows:-
Box bottom:  Cut Cardstock of choice 5 15/16" x 5 15/16" score all sides at 1 1/4"
Box Top: Cut DSP 6" X 6" Score all four sides at 1/2" and 1 1/4"
(Sorry about the inch measurements being old school I find inches work better for me.)
The extra score line of the box top will give you an extra fold for a more stable box lid.
The box is the perfect size to hold 4 tea lights comfortably.
I like to coordinate the colour of the tealights with the ribbon.

Thank you for visiting me today. Please, you are more than welcome to enter your projects for the Inspire.Create Stamping Challenges here. We really would love to see your creations. Please note there has been a change in the time submissions are to be made: we need your projects in by 10am. (UK time) Sunday.
