Inspire.Create. Stamping Challenges Challenge #201 'Something New"

Hello and welcome 2026 and another year of paper-crafting. I am Karen Farquhar a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator from the South Coast of N.S.W. Australia. To welcome in the New Year we have been set a theme challenge. The theme being appropriately 'Something New'.

So what can be more ew than a calendar of the New Year featuring some of the new products from Stampin' Up!'s Mini Catalogue and Online sore.

I have designed a desk top calendar. My Stamp Club ladies will be creating this this month.

I have designed each month to depict the season or a special event in that month. For January we have cool drinks from the fun 'Celebratory Sips' DSP to ward off the summer heat. Yesterday we reached 40℃ with warmer days promised.

Of course February brings Valentine's Day. I have used the 'Sweet Jar' stamp set for this month.

March heralds the beginning of our Autumn so a nice easy chair in Autumn colours from the 'Hobby Haven' DSP. to ease our way into the cooler months.

April is coming I am waiting for my Easter goodies to arrive in the post.

Another easy chair from the 'Hobby Haven' DSP with cooler weather sending us inside to relax

For June more 'Hobby Haven' DSP as I feel with the winter weather it's nice to pull out the craft supplies and settle down with some knitting or sewing.

July, maybe some reading is a happy pastime when outside activities are limited.

August more sewing and craft.

Then as our beautiful Spring weather arrives the garden blooms and tiny critters appear. Stampin' Up's new 'Cute as a Bug' is perfect for Spring.

Halloween of course for October. These are die cuts from the 'Spooky Sweet' Specialty DSP. This paper is in the Last Chance section of my Online Store so won't be available for very long.

Again back to our 'Hobby Haven' DSP for November. This is the month we are starting to cook & prepare for Christmas. I would also like to acknowledge Laura Beacham for some of the designs I have CASED Copied and Selectively Edited. Thank you Laura for your inspiration.

And of course we have Christmas. My cute little doggie is from the 'North Pole Delivery'. Another DSP that is on the last chance list in my Online Store.

The measurements for my stand are as followers:
Basic Black cardstock 30cm. x 18cm.
Score @ 15cm
Extra piece of Basic Black cardstock 13.5cm x 12cm. Long side scored @ 1cm, 5cm, 11cm folded in valley, mountain, valley order.
Attach this to stand base at front and back edges to create the stand.

For the box on the front of stand:
Basic Black cardstock 18cm x 10cm score 3 sides @ 3cm ie. sides and bottom edges
I used the 7th smallest 'Party Banner Die' to die cut the rectangle from one piece of cardstock on the side not scored. You could use your paper cutter for this if you haven' a suitable die. Then fold along score lines and adhere together to form a box.
Adhere to front of stand. 0.5cm up from lower edge.
I hope you like my project
