Inspire.Create Stamping Challenges Challenge #090

Hello and welcome to Inspire.Create Stamping Challenges #090. The challenge for this week has the theme Home Decor. Over the years I have created many home decor items using Stampin' Up! products but usually I make them for other people as gifts. So this time I thought I would create something to suite my own home decor.

We are in the process of creating a Coastal Hamptons vibe for our home so I decided to go with Night of Navy stamped floral images.

I have created a matching set of 12"x15" framed decor pieces using a few lovely Stampin' Up! floral stamp sets and coordinating dies: Forever Fern, Positive Thoughts, Enjoy the Moment and Timeless Tropical. I grouped a number of images from the stamp sets on my Stamparatus and stamped them out a number of times and then set about die cutting and fussy cutting the flower pods and leaves. I played around until I was happy with the arrangements and adhered them to an A4 sheet of Whisper White Cardstock. I think now they would have been even nicer wth our new Linen Specialty Paper as a background. Oops.
All I have to do now is to sweet talk to my hubby into  hanging them.
Thank you for visiting me today. I hope you have been inspired by my project. Please you are more than welcome to enter your projects for the Inspire.Create Stamping Challenges. We really would love to see your creations. Note we need your projects submitted by 10am. (UK time) Sunday. Also hop over for a visit to see the projects of other talented stampers here.
The great news is Stampin' Up have just released the 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue and of course they never disappoint. You can click on the catalogue image in the right hand column to download your own copy, or if you are an Australian resident and don't have a Stampin' Up! demonstrator you can contact me for a copy by emailing me at: kackles355@gmail.com

Inspire.Create Stamping Challenges Challenge #089

Hello and welcome to Inspire.Create Stamping Challenges #089. We have a colour challenge for you today. The beautiful colour combination of Stampin' Up!'s Bermuda Bay, Granny Smith Green, Magenta Madness and Mango Melody.

To create my card I have used the Sweet Ice Cream Stamp set from the Ice Cream Corner Suite featured in Stampin' Up!'s current Mini Catalogue. I did 'stamp off' the inks to make the colours a little more subtle. The sentiment I fussy cut around as I didn't have a die that quite suited the size I was after.

Inspire.Create. Stamping Challenges Challenge #088

Hello and welcome to Inspire.Create Stamping Challenges #088.  I am Karen Farquhar from Australia and we have a CASE the designer challenge for you today.
This gorgeous card has been created by Inspire.Create Stamping Challenges team member Jo Blackman.

Jo has very cleverly stamped her own patterned paper, cut the paper into 3cm x 1cm strips and then created a herringbone tile pattern with the strips for her card.

For my submission I have used some scraps of retiring Designer Series Paper 'Playing with Patterns' and basically copied Jo's design just swapping out the elements to create card more suitable for my Granddaughter who is celebrating her 16th Birthday this week. This is a great way to use up those little scraps of dsp you keep because they are too pretty to throw away.

Inspire.Create Stamping Challenges Challenge #087

Hello and welcome to Inspire.Create Stamping Challenges #087.  I am Karen Farquhar from Australia and we have a sketch challenge for you today.

For my submission I have used the Fine Art Floral Designer Series Paper form Stampin' Up! I always think that the catalogue photos never do the Designer Series Paper justice and this is the case in the Fine Art Floral Paper. It is just stunning in real life. It looks like an artist has used slathers of oil paint to create the beautiful floral images.

For the sentiment I have used the 'baby wipe technique' to create a colour graduation effect on the printing. The colours are Bumble BeePretty Peacock and Coastal Cabana.
Today I only have time for one card as I have been making lots of Easter gifts which I will share with you later in the week.

Thank you for visiting me today. I hope you have been inspired by my project. Please you are more than welcome to enter your projects for the Inspire.Create Stamping Challenge. We really would love to see your creations. Note we need your projects submitted by 10am. (UK time) Sunday.

Also hop over for a visit to see the projects of other talented stampers. We are thrilled to introduce two new members to our team,  Jo Blackman and Verity Pursglove. If you are familiar with their creations you will know how excited we are to have them both on our team.

Inspire.Create Stamping Challenges Theme: Anything Goes #086

Hello and welcome to Inspire.Create Stamping Challenges #086.  I am Karen Farquhar from Australia and we have a Theme challenge for you today namely 'Anything Goes'.

The actual purpose of this challenge is to create anything your heart desires so you will find a variety of creations when you visit the Inspire.Create Stamping Challenges website to see what our team members have submitted for this challenge.

I decided to have a play on the words of this challenge and have created 3 little cards showcasing the Moving Along photopolymer stamp set on page 99 of the Stampin' Up! 2020-2021 Annual Catalogue. Firstly to demonstrate how Stampin' Up! products can be changed around for use on a variety of projects and still coordinate beautifully. Plus the pun of 'Anything Goes' relating to travel.

Moving Along is such a sweet set and I had such fun coming up with some ideas to use it with.
The first card is for my Grandson who has just passed his driver's licence test. He can't believe he can just get in his car and go without having to rely on other people for lifts. Congratulations Callum.

The next card would make a cute little baby card or with a change of sentiment a card for an older child or even a train lover.

The next card I made just for the heck of it because I love helicopters.
Not that I have any intentions of getting in one. But a CareFlight helicopter did play a huge part in saving my premature granddaughter's life 13 years ago. So I do like helicopters.

Also to tie in with the theme I have used the Stitched with Whimsy Dies meant to look like stitching on a project but I thought they looked a bit like a wiggly road or train track.
Three cards with three different colour ways, 3 different reasons to mark an occasion and same design but 3 different looks.
Some examples how Stampin' Up! products are designed to coordinate so well that you can mix and match and 'Anything Goes'!
