Inspire.Create. Stamping Challenges #175|Sketch Challenge

Hello and welcome to Inspire.Create Stamping Challenge #175. I am Karen Farquhar from Australia. This week we have my favourite challenge a Sketch Challenge. These are my favourite Challenges because the design work has been done for you and I love to see how other card makers interpret the sketch.

I have used Stampin' Up!'s At Take to the Sky Suit today and teamed it with coordinating Copper Clay cardstock for a very masculine card.

Inspire.Create.Stamping Challenges #174|Theme Challenge

Hello and welcome to challenge #174 a Theme Challenge. 

Our theme challenge for today is 'Men'. You can interpret the topic anyway you would like. 

With Father's Day and three men's birthdays next month I thought I would get an early start and chose to create a man's card for this challenge.

I struggle with masculine cards so I purchased the Take to the Sky Suite when this years annual Stampin' Up! catalogue was first released. I fell in love with it and the suite has been beckoning me ever since. So this challenge was a good reason to start playing with it. 

I have woven 1.5cm strips of the Night of Navy and the Boho Blue designs from the Take to the Sky Designer Series Papers to create an interesting background for my card. However the papers also contain the colours Copper Clay, Mossy Meadow and Smokey Slate which I think would work well with this design as well.
