Inspire.Create. Stamping Challenges Sketch Challenge|#183

Hello and welcome to Inspire.Create Stamping Challenge #183. I am Karen Farquhar from Australia. Today we have my very favourite challenge a Sketch Challenge. My favourite because the design work has been done for you and it's always exciting to see how other card makers interpret the sketch.

For my submission I have used the Designer Series Paper from the Otterly Adorable Suite

.I have a friend who has a December Birthday and this suite reminded me of the little otters we saw on our trip to Canada a few years back. One particular little one took a shine to my friend and followed her up and down his pool making gestures to her through the glass. He was so adorable.

I have tried to reflect the diagonal lines pattern of the sketch with the DSP. I have moved the sentiment as I felt the white space on the front rectangle needed be filled.

next month.

Inspire.Create. Stamping Challenges Challenge #182 |Christmas -anything but a card

Hello and welcome to another Inspire.Create Stamping Challenge. I am Karen Farquhar from Australia. This week we have been set the theme challenge 'Christmas - anything but a card'.

I've been having so much fun with the Reindeer Fun Suite Collection of products from the Stampin' Up! Sep to Dec Mini Catalogue.

I was already working on these little reindeer treat boxes before this challenge was posted. The whole collection its overflowing with great products.

The Reindeer Fun have dies for reindeers, bells, holly, presents with bows and even a Christmas tree. The Designer Series paper captures whimsical designs of reindeer in classic Christmas colours.

And the real red and white adhesive backed peppermints have been so very popular with my customers.

Inspire.Create. Stamping Challenges Challenge#181|Christmas

Hello and welcome to another Inspire.Create Stamping Challenge. I am Karen Farquhar from Australia. This week we have been set the theme challenge 'Christmas'.

For challenge #181 I cranked up my friend the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. I have embossed my background with the Snowflake Sky 3D Embossing Folder. For the Christmas bauble element I have used the Hang an Ornament Dies and the One of a Kind Dies. The silver embossed sentiment and scattered gems from my stash completes the card (the gems are no longer available but Stampin' Up! Rhinestones Basic Jewels would serve just as well).

A very simple card to pull together if you have a stack of Christmas cards to make.

Inspire.Create. Stamping Challenges: Challenge #180|Colour Challenge

Hello and welcome to the Inspire.Create Stamping Challenge. I am Karen Farquhar from Australia. This week we have been set a colour challenge. The challenge colour challenge being 'Many Shades of Grey'.

I chose to make a shaker card for my submission.

I have used a piece of Designer Series Paper (DSP) from Stampin' Up!'s Winter Meadow DSP. The paper depicts a reindeer standing in a snow scene. A little difficult to see in the photograph due to reflection off the window sheet. The shaker elements are the White Loose Snowflakes and the embossing folder is the Painted Trees Embossing Folder. All available in my Online Store.

Hello and welcome to Inspire.Create Stamping Challenge #179. I am Karen Farquhar from Australia. This week we have my very favourite challenge a Sketch Challenge. My favourite Challenge because the design work has been done for you and I love to see how other card makers interpret the sketch.

I thought I might start my Christmas card making for this one. I have chosen Stampin' Up's Sentimental Wishes Bundle for my submission. I have used the 3D embossing folder Snowflake Sky as a background panel and the sweet Adhesive Backed Peppermints to add a little shine to the card.
