Hello and welcome I am Karen Farquhar from Australia and thank you for joining me today for Inspire.Create Stamping Challenge #052.

Challenge #052 is a Colour Challenge using the colours Coastal Cabana, Melon Mambo and Gorgeous Grape so pretty together.

I chose the Sip Sip Hooray Bundle for Challenge #052 as this week my daughter-in law celebrated her Birthday and I thought the cocktail glasses from the Sip Sip Hooray matched perfectly with the cocktail gasses I gave her as a gift.

Inspire.Create Stamping Challenges #051

Hello and welcome I am Karen Farquhar from Australia and thank you for joining me today for Inspire.Create Stamping Challenge #051 the theme being 'Sympathy'.

I have decided to continue on from the last challenge to complete the beautiful die-cut cards included in Bird Ballard tin for this challenge.

I have now completed 6 of the 12 laser-cut cards contained in the tin and have managed to use only 1 sheet of the gorgeous Bird Ballard Designer Series Paper so I have plenty more left for future projects.

Inspire.Create. Stamping Challenges Challenge #50

Hello and welcome I am Karen Farquhar from Australia and thank you for joining me today for Inspire.Create Stamping Challenge #050, which is a sketch challenge.

For Challenge #050 I have been inspired by a gift decorated and given to me by Louise Sharp . The Bird Ballard Designer Series Paper with its coordinating Bird Ballard Tin containing 12 laser cut cards and envelopes is to die for.

I have actually snipped the centre out of a laser-cut card to create my card but the cards come as complete cards ready for your finishing touches. I am aiming to sit down and complete my cards over the weekend. Fingers crossed.

This is the gorgeous tin I was lucky enough to receive from Louise.

Inspire.Create Stamping Challenge #049

Hello and welcome I am Karen Farquhar from Australia and thank you for joining me today for Inspire.Create Stamping Challenge #049.

Challenge #049 is a Colour Challenge using Basic Gray, Mango Melody and Pool Party.

For my challenge card I have used the very cute stamp set We'll Walrus be Friends combined with the High Seas Embossing Folder. To colour my walrus image I have combined my Stamp' Blends (Mango Melody and Pool Party) and my Basic Gray Watercolor Pencil to produce the challenge colours.

For my background I inked up my Embossing Folder and ran it through my embossing machine.

This weekend I am looking forward to be attending a craft retreat called 'Fiesta By the Sea' organised by the lovely Louise Sharp. I have created 30 gift boxes for the event as my swaps. Also using the We'll Walrus be Friends stamp set.

Of course I had to add some shell shaped chocolate treats to go with the theme.

Measurements for the box are as follows:

Cardstock: 5 1/2" x 11 1/4"

Score 5 1/2" side at 1/2", 1 1/4", 4 1/4, 5"

Score 11 1/4" side at 3/4", 3 3/4", 41/2", 7 1/2" 8 1/4"

2 DSP Pieces: 2 7/8" x 2 7/8"

Window Sheet: 2 3/4" x 2 3/4"

Extra Cardstock and ribbon for stamping and decorating.
