Inspire.Create. Stamping Challenges Autumn/Fall Challenge #202

Hello and welcome to the Inspire.Create Stamping Challenge. I am Karen Farquhar from Australia. Today we have been set a theme challenge. The theme being Autumn/Fall.

This challenge was a little hard for me to get my head around as in Australia we are experiencing beautiful Spring weather after a very cold Winter by Australian standards.
However I grabbed an assortment of  stamps and dies and set to it.

Creating the background involved cutting some masks from card stock using a variety of dies then some colour blending the negative images with my blending brushes. Then I over-stamped the background with stamps from the Heirloom Arrangement Kit.
I die cut some copper foil, gold foil & Early Espresso card stock leaves with the Beautiful Motifs and Inspiring Imperfections dies to build a leaf bouquet.  The tag is from the Notes and Totes die set.
Quiet a few dies involved but I pulled out anything with leaves I had on hand.

I hope you like my project today and I have inspired you to enter the challenge. You can see more inspiration from our talented team over on the Inspire.Create. Stamping Challenges blog site.
Please we really would love to see your creations. We need your projects submitted here by 10am. Sunday (UK time).

Below are the products I have used for today's projects.

Hello and welcome to the Inspire.Create Stamping Challenge. I am Karen Farquhar from Australia. Today we have been set a colour challenge. The colours being Shades of Blue and Green.

I have gone with a Christmas theme using a very pretty new stamp set Joyful Tidings that landed in my letter box this week.

I have water coloured the background on a 5" x 5" piece of basic white thick card stock in a Stampin' Up! Pool Party ink wash. People often argue that the colour Pool Party is green but I think it is more a shade of blue. However either way it meets this challenge.

The wreath was then stamped using the baby wipe technique in Stampin' Ups! Night of Navy and Highland Heather ink refills. I have stamped the image in each corner to form a wreath.
Then I silver embossed another wreath image over the top. The sentiment is from the Stampin' Up's! Jolly Holly stamp set and the die from the Words for the Season Stampin' Cut & Emboss Dies.

I hope you like my project today and I have inspired you to enter the challenge. You can see more inspiration from our talented team over on the Inspire.Create. Stamping Challenges blog site.

Inspire.Create Stamping Challenges Challenge 199|Clean and Simple

Hello and welcome to challenge #199 a Theme Challenge.
Our theme challenge for today is 'Clean & Simple'.

For my submission I have chosen to ink up the cute, cute, cute 'Hugs & Healing' stamp set.

Do you know someone having a RUFF day then this stamp set is for you. The sentiments and colourable pet images are perfect for get well cards or for just sending a little cheer.
The 'Hugs and Healing' stamp set adds a fun and thoughtful touch to your card projects.

For a little more fun I created two z-fold cards to try and brighten the day of someone under the weather.

It's always handy to have some get well cards on hand I think and this stamp set is suitable for children and animal lovers alike.

To make these cards I have used Jilli Bling's YouTube instructions.

I hope you like my projects today and I have inspired you to enter the challenge. You can see more inspiration from our talented team over on the Inspire.Create. Stamping Challenges blog site.
Please we really would love to see your creations. We need your projects submitted here by 10am. Sunday (UK time).

Below are the products I have used for today's projects. Just a note my cards have been created with Basic White cardstock but for some reason my camera is giving them a pink hue. Maybe it's the horrible dull weather we are having at the moment.
