Inspire.Create Stamping Challenges Theme: Celebration!

Hello and welcome to Inspire.Create Stamping Challenges. I am Karen Farquhar from Australia this challenge is number 100 how exciting. So our theme just has to be Celebration!

Now my card may not look much like a celebration card but I created it to give to my eldest son Wayne who turned 50 this week. Wayne spends most of his working week in a shirt and tie so to relax he loves nothing more than to get into his favourite threadbare  'flannie' (flannelette shirt) and relax.

To construct the shirt I used the Suite and Tie Dies from Stampin' Ups! Annual Catalogue and the Designer Series Paper is one of the papers from the Peaceful Prints Designer Series Paper pack which is FREE with a $90 purchase while Sale-a-Bration is in progress.

I adjusted the suite die a little so the shirt would open down the centre to reveal the sentiment inside. The 'stitching' around the neck and sleeves of the t-shirt were created with the Picture This Dies.

This is another card I have created with the Peaceful Prints Designer Series paper which coordinates perfectly with the Peaceful Deer Bundle from the August to December 2021 Mini Catalogue.

Inspire.Create. Stamping Challenges. Challenge#99

Hello and welcome to Inspire.Create Stamping Challenges #099. I am Karen Farquhar from Australia and we have a CASE the designer challenge for you today.
This gorgeous card has been created by Inspire.Create Stamping Challenges team leader Hannah McCurly using the Sweet Strawberry stamp set

I have CASED Hannah's design but have substituted the Words Of Cheer stamp set and the lovely Whimsy & Wonder Designer Series Paper both from our August-December 2021 Mini Catalogue.

I chose to use the colours from the Designer Series Paper as I think it is so pretty and a little unusual for Christmas cards. I stamped out the image from the stamp set and then fussy cut the flowers and leaves so I could arrange them around my sentiment.

Having stamped out a few images I took to them with my paper snips.

I just couldn't bear to see the left over scraps go to waste. So I ended up creating 4 projects for my next month's Stamp Club.

Thank you for visiting me today. I hope you have been inspired by my projects. Please you are more than welcome to enter your projects for the Inspire.Create. Inspire.Create Stamping Challenges Challenge #097

Hello and welcome to another Inspire.Create.Challenge. I am Karen Farquhar from Australia. This week the design team have been set a colour challenge using colours Bumblebee, Calypso Coral, Just Jade and Night of Navy.

For my submission I have taken the colours directly from Stampin' Up!'s Designer Series Paper Sweet Symmetry. I did cheat a little there is a smidgeon of Flirty Flamingo in the tiny background flowers but I felt as if I needed to use the DSP as background to give the stamped flowers a lift.

Inspire.Create. Stamping Challenges Challenge #096

Hello and welcome to Inspire.Create Stamping Challenges #096. I am Karen Farquhar from Australia and we have a CASE the Designer challenge for you today. The designer we are casing is one of our very clever and creative Inspire.Create team members Denita Wright-Smee.
Denita is very special to me as she is not only a member of my Stampin' Up! team but a very dear friend who provides never ending inspiration and encouragement to me.

For my projects I have used Denita's layout but swapped out the pretty Hand-Penned designer series paper Denita has used for the Expressions in Ink  Designer Series Paper and her Penned Flowers dies for the beautiful Artistic dies.

With my daughter's birthday this week I needed to make a special Birthday card for her. As we are in lockdown and unable to shop I created an extra long card to hold a gift voucher for our local beauty salon. I am sure she will enjoy a bit of pampering once we can get out and about again.

I hope you have been inspired by my projects. Please you are more than welcome to enter your projects for the Inspire.Create Challenges here.  We really would love to see your creations. Note we need your projects submitted by 10am. (UK time) Sunday.
