Inspire.Create. Stamping Challenges Challenge#163|Colour Challenge

Hello and welcome to the Inspire.Create Stamping Challenge. I am Karen Farquhar from Australia. This week we have been set a colour challenge. The challenge colours being Fresh Freesia, Lemon Lime Twist and Pretty Peacock. Very pretty.

For this challenge I have chosen the gorgeous Stamp Set Translucent Florals and it is available as a bundle with its Translucent Florals coordinating die set. In my online store.

For my stamping I have 'stamped off ' the floral images to give a lighter colour and for the leaves I used Lemon Lime Twist to ink up my leaves and then used a Sponge Dauber to highlight the edges with Pretty Peacock ink before stamping my images.
I have teamed the Translucent Florals Bundle with the Layered Floral 3D embossing folder from our new Stampin' Up! Mini Catalogue available until the 30th April or until stocks run out. Pretty products for pretty colours. I've been a little pressed for time this fortnight so I was only able to create one project for this challenge.
Thank you for dropping by  I hope you are inspired by my project. Do you feel like you would like to join the Inspire.Create Stamping Challenge?
We really would love to see your creations. Note we need your projects submitted here by 10am. Sunday  (UK time).

Inspire.Create. Stamping Challenges - Colour Challenge|#156

Hello and welcome to the Inspire.Create Stamping Challenge. I am Karen Farquhar from Australia. This week we have been set a colour challenge. The challenge colours being Moody Mauve, Boho Blue and Lemon Lolly.

These colours really did present a challenge for me. They are colours I would not usually combine together, however our design team have managed to create some beautiful cards with this combination.
My inspiration came from the Boho Blue Mini Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine available in the Online Exclusives section of my Online Store. I felt it was a good excuse to highlight this little gem.

I have used the Crafting with You Bundle from the 2022-2024 Annual catalogue. Love this set. Perfect for cards for our crafty friends and family. For the card above I have stamped and die-cut the Mini Stampin' Cut & Emboss machine in Boho Blue

Here I have a die-cut image of the Stampin' Up! Paper Trimmer and the Paper Snip Scissors.

And we even have a sewing machine for our sewing/quilting enthusiasts with some sewing notions. All stamped and die-cut from the Crafting with You Bundle. I have coloured some Iridescent Pearls with my coordinating Stampin' Blends to add some extra elements to my cards.

Thank you for dropping by today I hope you are inspired by my projects. Do you feel like you would like to join the Inspire.Create Stamping Challenge?

Inspire.Create Stamping Challenges Challenge #110

Hello and welcome to another Inspire.Create.Challenge. I am Karen Farquhar from Australia. This week the design team have been set a colour challenge using the Stampin' Up! colours Cherry Cobbler, Evening Evergreen, Misty Moonlight, Sahara Sand and Soft Succulent.

So for this challenge I have gone with a masculine card. I felt the colours lent that way.

Using the Handsomely Suited stamp set and it's coordinating dies Suit & Tie I have created a card I feel would be perfect to give a male teacher or male School Principal to acknowledge the enormously difficult challenges teachers and principals have had to encounter during the pandemic. With a change of sentiment the card would be perfect for a birthday or Father's Day as well.
The little tie bar was made with an off-cut of Gold Foil Sheet that was on my craft table. Goes to show you should hang on to your scraps.

Speaking of scraps after completing the card I had some left over stamped images and card stock so while I had my stamp set and dies out I created a couple of more projects. The first one is a gift card holder. I used the brace buckle die form the Suit and Tie Dies to make the little tabs to hold the gift card. To form the tabs I fed the die only to the little notches on the side of the die to half cut the card stock.

Another project was a matchbook which could also be used to contain a gift card but I have inserted a tea bag in mine. This time I swapped out the Misty Moonlight card stock and ink for Evening Evergreen.

Would you like to join the challenge? Then pop on over and view the gorgeous creations by our team and other talented stampers here. We would love for you to join in the fun. Add your project to our gallery
