Inspire.Create. STAMPING CHALLENGES Sketch Challenge #217

Hello and welcome to another Inspire.Create Stamping Challenge. I am Karen Farquhar from Australia. This week we have a fun sketch challenge for you.

Of course, as with all our challenges, you can use any part of the theme or sketch to inspire your creation!

For my card, I followed the sketch exactly and paired basic white cardstock with the beautiful Delicate Dreams Designer Series Paper for a fresh and pretty look. The sketch also inspired me to pull out my Perennial Postage Dies to incorporate into the design.

I had so much fun bringing this card together and I hope it inspires you to join the challenge and get creative too!

You can find even more inspiration from our talented design team over on the Inspire.Create. Stamping Challenges website.

Inspire.Create. Stamping Challenges Challenge #194

Hello and welcome to Inspire.Create Stamping Challenge #194. I am Karen Farquhar from Australia. Today our challenge is 'A Project with a Window'.

Normally I would create a shaker card when creating a window project or a box with a window in it but I was constructing the gorgeous Stampin' Up! Cherry Blossom Treat Boxes Kit for Mother's Day gifts and fell I love with the cherry blossom stamp set included in the kit.
I knew I had this challenge coming up so I used the stamp set to create these cards to coordinate with my gift boxes.

I forgot to photograph my gift boxes before I gave them away so this is an image from the Stampin' Up website. They were so pretty and so easy to put together.
The kit includes everything you need to make 12 projects with step by step instructions. The Stampin' Up! kits are a great idea for novice crafters or for quick and easy gifts.

I hope you like my projects today and I have inspired you to enter the challenge. You can see more inspiration from our talented team over on the Inspire.Create. Stamping Challenges blog site.

Inspire.Create. Stamping Challenges #189|Spring/Easter

Hello and welcome to another Inspire.Create Stamping Challenge. I am Karen Farquhar from Australia. This week we have been set the theme challenge Spring/Easter

For my submission today I chose the gorgeous Storybook Moments Suite. I designed for my March Stamp Club ladies. This darling suit is not only suitable for Easter gift giving but baby cards/scrapbooking, thank you cards, to accompany gifts from the garden or garden scrapbooking. To name a few. So versatile and sweet.
I used Stampin' Up's Book Treat Boxes and filled them with  six 6.5cm x 8.5cm gift cards. I didn't stamp any sentiments as some club members don't celebrate Easter. However the suite comes with a number of sentiments that could be stamped inside their cards.
Or alternatively the boxes could be given as a treat filled with easter eggs or chocolates.
The following are images of my gift cards.

I have also made some die free folded carrot treat boxes using the coordinating 6" x 6" Timeless Plaid Designer Series paper from the suite. If you would like a copy of the instructions email me and I'd be happy to get a copy to you.

Inspire.Create.Challenge#188|Masculine

Hello and welcome to another Inspire.Create Stamping Challenge. I am Karen Farquhar from Australia. This week we have been set the theme challenge Masculine.

I chose to use the  Racing By Stamp Set for my submission today. I have a couple of nephews that love race cars so I added this set to my collection with them in mind.
I originally started out stamping a sheet of A4 Basic White cardstock with the car images, then stamped the car images in alternating inks of Real Red, Granny Apple Green and Crushed Curry. Originally I had intended to make 4 Stamp-a-Stack cards with the same stamped piece of A4 cardstock. But I thought no I can step things up a bit. So I fussy cut some cars for one card and then trimmed my cardstock for my 3rd card. Giving me 3 different card designs from one sheet of cardstock.

Racing By is a stamp set from the 2024-25 Annual Catalog, page 87. This cute stamp set is perfect for those little (or big) racing enthusiasts and makes great cards for birthdays, congratulations, encouragement, and I can envisage a scrapbook layout in the future!
