Inspire.Create.Challenge #212/Colour Challenge

Hello and welcome to the Inspire.Create Stamping Challenge. I am Karen Farquhar from Australia. Today we have been set a colour challenge. For this challenge our colour combination is yellow, blue and dark pink.

I have chosen Stamping' Up! colours  Daffodil Delight, Azure Afternoon and my all time fav Melon Mambo.

To create this card I positioned 2 pieces of Stampin' Up! masking paper about 3cm apart on my cardstock, then using my blending brushes I blended each colour in between the two pieces of masking paper. I die cut a fern from the Beautiful Motifs die set then stamped a sentiment from the very sweet 'Notes of Spring' stamp set
Result a simple and effective card. a few splashes of water from the tip of my water colour pen add some interest to the colour bar.

Below is the original card I had prepared for this challenge but could not submit it as I realised the 'Charming Day' dies had retired 😔.

If you are wondering where to find the 'Notes Of Spring' stamp set. It is Stampin' Up!'s Exclusive Product of the Month, available in my online store for March 2026. For only $9 with every $125 purchase while stocks last.

I do hope you like my projects
today and I have inspired you to enter the challenge. You can see more inspiration from our talented team over on the
Please we really would love to see your creations. We need your projects submitted here by 10am. Sunday (UK time).

Inspire.Create Stamping Challenges Challenge124

Hello and welcome to another Inspire.Create Stamping Challenge. I am Karen Farquhar from Australia. This week the design team have been set a colour challenge.

I can say I really struggle with colour challenges. Sometimes the combinations are so outfield I have no idea what to do with them. But then I see what the rest of the design team come up with and I think why was I making it so hard. Stampin' Up! design their colours to coordinate with such skill it really isn't that difficult to combine any of their colours with ease.
To create my cards I have cut the colours into 0.5cm strips from the Gingham Cottage Designer Series Paper in the July-December Mini Catalogue (p.59). I have then adhered them at an angle on a piece of 14.5cm x 10.1cm cardstock, trimmed the sides then cut the card into different size strips. By adding various elements I have designed 3 different cards.

For the first card the strip measurement is 4.5cm x 10.1cm.
I have then added some white bakers twine, a sentiment from the
Lovely You stamp set and scattered some Adhesive Seasonal Sequins.

The strip measurement for this card is 4cm x 10.1. I then cut my 11cm x 10.1cm Basic White front panel on an angle at 2.5cm up from left side lower corner and  5cm up from right side lower corner. I then embossed both pieces with the Timeworn Type 3D embossing folder. I adhered the pieces together using Stampin' Dimensionals to lift the front panels up. My sentiment is from the Sending Smiles Bundle.

The simplest card of all was made from the left over trims which are 14.5cm x 8cm strips adhered to the left side of the card and a sentiment from the Charming Sentiments Bundle

Inspire.Create Stamping Challenge #077

Hello and welcome I am Karen Farquhar from Australia and I thank you for joining me today for Inspire.Create Stamping Challenge #077. Today's challenge is a colour challenge Poppy Parade, Rich Razzleberry and Mossy Meadow.

The stamp set I have chosen to create my projects with is Heart to Heart.  I love this set. It coordinates with the Story Label Punch and the Detailed Hearts Dies. The cute little  tendril stamp in the set I have used to give the impression of the plant climbing the frames.

After I had finished my card I had some left over stamped images on my craft desk so I have created 2 little coordinating gift tags.

Thank you for visiting me.  I hope you have been inspired by the projects I have presented today. Please you are more than welcome to enter your projects for the Inspire.Create Stamping Challenge here. We really would love to see your creations. Note we need your projects submitted by 10am. Inspire.Create Stamping Challenges Challenge #074

Hello and welcome I am Karen Farquhar from Australia and I thank you for joining me today for Inspire.Create Stamping Challenge #074. For today's challenge we are introducing you to the fresh new 2020-2022 Stampin' Up! In Colours: Cinnamon Cider, Just Jade, Bumble Bee Magenta Madness and Misty Moonlight

Instead of combining the 5 colours together in one design I decided to make 5 cards to highlight each colour individually

The Zany Zebras stamp set is so irresistibly cute. Perfect for novice stampers as there is no colouring involved and includes sentiments perfect for all fun occasions.

To add a little bling I have coloured my Rhinestones Basic Jewels with the coordinating Stampin' Blends pens.

As a welcome back to face-to-face classes for my attendees I created some wrapped chocolates to give them a little taste of our new In Colours.

Thank you for visiting me.  I hope you have been inspired by the projects I have presented today.
