Inspire.Create. Stamping Challenges Challenge #168|Colour Challenge

 Hello and welcome to the Inspire.Create Stamping Challenge. I am Karen Farquhar from Australia. This week we have been set a colour challenge. The challenge colours being a very pretty combination of Any Red, Any Pink and Any Purple /Mauve.

For my colours I have chosen Real Red, Pretty in Pink and Highland Heather.

I have created a Scrapbook page for this challenge.

I in my attempt to complete a Scrapbook Album for my daughter to give her for her 50th Birthday this year hence the photograph is a little dated with its faded colours. 

I have used the Adoring Hearts Hybrid Embossing Folder and Stamp Set to create this page and have also completed a card. Other products used are the Flowers of Beauty Dies with the Sweet Thoughts Memories and More Card pack which I have just realised unfortunately may not be available anymore.

Inspire.Create Stamping Challenges| Challenge #167

Hello and welcome to Inspire.Create. Challenge #162. I am Karen Farquhar an Australian Stampin' Up! Demonstrator. This week we have been set an Inspiration Challenge. The challenge is to create a project from anything that appeals to you from this gorgeous card created by Verity Pursglove.

You could choose to recreate Verity's layout, her colour scheme, her theme, the same stamped images... Anything that appeals to you. There are no wrongs.

I chose the idea of using plants on my card front as Verity has, also her colour pallet. My sister was an avid gardener up until a back injury & she loves plants so I have created this card with her in mind.
 

I chose the Country Flowers bundle from the new Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue such pretty images in this set. I also decided to give the new Basic Beige cardstock a whirl as well. Basic Beige is a new colour Stampin' Up! have added to their colour range.

Sorry I can only share one creation today as I had prepared a submission for the wrong week's challenge and had to make a quick card for this week. Oops!
