Inspire.Create Stamping Challenges #080

Hello and welcome to todays
Inspire. Create. Stamping Challenges #080. I am Karen Farquhar from Australia and Inspire.Create. Stamping Challenges are inviting inspired by Anna's gorgeous poppy card. Anna has used the Peaceful Moments Bundle to create this card.

For my card I have substituted the poppy image for dear old Santa.
I have die cut a rectangle and positioned Santa in it's corner. The background to the card was sponged with Night of Navy and Tuxedo Black Memento then sprintz the card stock with water and Wink of Stella to represent the night sky.
So I have CASEd the layout of Anna's card as well as the colour combination to create a very different card.

I have created 3 different cards with this one stamp set just to show that with different colours and paper you can create a variety of different cards with just one set

I think we can all relate to these 2 little fellows. The little elf getting himself in a tangle with all his Christmas preparations and the snowman drinking something he shouldn't have and suffering the consequences. OOPs!

All 3 images from the same stamp set Don't Stop Believing'.

Inspire.Create Stamping Challenges Theme: Halloween Challenge #079

Hello and welcome to todays
Inspire. Create. Stamping Challenges #079. I am Karen Farquhar from Australia and today's challenge has the theme 'Halloween'. We in Australia do not celebrate Halloween in a big way. The kids dress up and go Trick-a-Treating but most people don't decorate their homes or exchange cards.
So todays' theme gave me a good excuse to pull out all my stamp sets the include Halloween images and create some fun treat holders for my Grandchildren.

Firstly I have created a Halloween card with the witches brooms image from the Festive Post Stamp Set and the fun Magic in this Night Designer Series Paper.

The card is a fancy fold card with the front square flap opening to reveal a side panel of bat designer series paper and a place to write your sentiment inside.

So I then went ahead and created treat holder boxes of a book design mimicking the flap opening of the card.

I had such fun sorting through my stamp sets finding suitable Halloween themed images.

Under each flap is a stamped image and greeting. Open the book and the inside reveals the treats.

You'll notice some white specks on some of the boxes. I went slightly overboard with some Wink of Stella splattering on another project and accidentally splattered these projects. It just adds a little bling when seen in real life. OOPS!

I have used a variety of framelits and punches to create windows for the Candy Corn.
