Stampin' Dreams Blog Hop March, 2020

Welcome to the March 2020 Stampin' Dreams Blog Hop. You are currently visiting Karen Farquhar from Australia and this month's theme is Easter

For my submission I have created a rustic framed wreath. I have used Stampin' Up! products to decorate a store bought wreath and wooden bunny.

The daisies were made with the 3 layers punched from the medium Daisy Punch with their centres sponged with Soft Sea Foam ink and a Perennial Essence Floral Centre added.
The blossoms were punched and stamped with the Thoughtful Blooms stamp set and the Small Bloom Punch free from the Sale-A-Bration catalogue.

The wooden rabbit is covered in the Basic Grey from the 6" x6" Neutrals Designer Series Paper. The background paper which teams beautifully with my rustic theme is from the Pressed Petals Designer Series Paper pack.
And these tiny blooms were punched with the Bitty Blooms Punch Pack currently available on the clearance rack in my online store. The flowers were adhere to the wreath with a hot glue gun available from most craft stores.

My card is a swing card the little rabbits from the very cute Wildly Happy stamp set and the other little fellow is from the Nature's Beauty stamp set.

I hope the projects you've seen here on my blog today have inspired you & brightened your day in our present climate of uncertainty. You are currently visiting Karen Farquhar. Please see the link below to view all our projects in the blog hop. Have fun!

Inspire.Create. Stamping Challenges #065

Hello and welcome I am Karen Farquhar from Australia and I thank you for joining me today for Inspire.Create Stamping Challenge #065. Today we have a sketch challenge for you. My niece was visiting from Sri Lanka just recently with her new baby. I had created a framed 3D sampler as a gift for him so I thought I would team it with a tumbling Koala card as a recognition of the Australian part of his heritage.
I really liked the background print in the Birthday Bonanza Designer Series Paper so I have tried to recreate it by stamping the pom pom images from the Bonanza Babies stamp set.

And a decorated inside always adds a personal touch to any hand made card.

Pictured below is the framed sampler I have created for little baby Koa using the very cute Bonanza Buddies Bundle

Thank you for visiting me.  I hope you have been inspired by the card I have presented today. Please, you are more than welcome to enter your projects for the Inspire.Create Stamping Challenges here. We really would love to see your creations. Note we need your projects submitted by 10am.  I pray you, your families and friends are well and in good spirits during our present uncertain times. It is a time of challenge thank goodness I have craft to keep me going. Best wishes to you all.

Inspire.Create Stamping Challenges: Challenge #064

Hello and welcome I am Karen Farquhar from Australia and I thank you for joining me today for Inspire.Create Stamping Challenge #064. Today we have a colour challenge for you Night of Navy, Crumb Cake and another colour of choice. When I saw these colours they screamed male card to me. I have created a shirt front using the papers from the Country Club Designer Series Paper pack. The other colour being garden Green included as part of the plaid design.

The card is a very simple card and there are plenty of these designs on Pinterest but I have used my Stitched Rectangles Dies to die cut 'stitching' around the collar, the pocket and front placket. The Crumb Cake buttons were die cut with the All Dressed Up Dies from the 2020 Occasions Catalogue. (not just for the ladies after all)

This is a Birthday card for my Brother-in-law who wears a variety of plaid shirts. But I thought the stamped image inside was just perfect and he got a kick out of it as well.

Thank you for visiting me.  I hope you have been inspired by the card I have presented today.
