Inspire.Create Stamping Challenges Theme: Movement Challenge #063

Hello and welcome I am Karen Farquhar from Australia and I thank you for joining me today for Inspire.Create Stamping Challenge #063. Today we have been given the theme 'Movement'.
Movement could be a speeding car with flames shooting from it as I have stamped or it could be sport, personal exercise, the wind blowing the trees or even a group of people fighting for a cause.

These stamp sets reminded me of a set of cards created a few years ago by a NZ demonstrator Kristine McNickle. I thought they were great masculine cards so I have CASED them for this challenge.

The car and the sentiment are from the Geared Up Garage set in the annual. The sand buggy, dirt bike and truck are from the Pedal to the Metal set from the 2020 Mini catalogue. But would you believe the churned up sand and dirt and exploding flames stamp is the Painted Poppy stamp set also from the 2020 Mini Catalogue.

I always love it when Stampin' Up! includes some masculine stamp sets in their catalogues as I really struggle making cards for the boys.

Stampin' Dreams February 2020 Blog Hop. Theme: Valentine's Day

Welcome to the February 2020 Stampin' Dreams Blog Hop. You are currently visiting Karen Farquhar from Australia and this month's theme is 'Valentine's Day'. Appropriate as it is the day before Valentine's Day.

I actually held a Valentine class last Saturday and here are 2 of the projects I demonstrated in the class. We had such a fun day. It is always lovely to sit around on a rainy day and craft with friends.
This is one of the cards we created. I haven't added a Valentine sentiment as I wanted to present a card that could also be given for a different occasion, as I find a lot of people are not into Valentine card giving.

My heart shaped boxes were made from a template I downloaded here. It's a great little site with lots of fun ideas.
Filled with chocolates my 16 year old Grandson has already snaggled one for his new girlfriend. I offered him a card as well but I think he thought they were a bit too 'lovey-dovey'.

He was just going to write something on the underside of the gift tag. Typical man learning early. 😂

I hope the projects you've seen here on my blog today have inspired you & brightened your day. You are currently visiting Karen Farquhar. Please see the link below to view all our projects in the blog hop. Have fun!

Inspire.Create. Stamping Challenges #062

Hello and welcome I am Karen Farquhar from Australia and I thank you for joining me today for Inspire.Create Stamping Challenge #062. Today we have been given a blank canvas to create anything we like. Fun!
I think we have all fallen in love with the cute Little Ladybugs Stamp Set from the Sale-A-Bration Catalogue and the fun part is if you place a party order or personal order over $500AUD during the Sale-A-Bration period you will earn the exclusive Little Ladybug Stamp Set for free. Only available during Sale-A-Bration however.

I was so taken with the set I have made a number of projects for my Sale-A-Bration and the new 2020 Mini catalogue launch.

For my submission to the Challenge I have embellished one of our Mini Pizza Boxes containing 6 3"x3".

I needed to create a card for a friend who had suffered a sad loss in her family I thought this little lady would be a sweet way to offer my condolences.

Happy Birthday cards are always a must to have on hand and I so love this font I created a Birthday card as well.

And of course coordinating gift tags are a must. How sweet are the tumbling ladybugs.

Spurred on by my Ladybug theme I created Mini Curvy Keepsake Boxes containing a chocolate Ladybug for all my catalogue launch attendees. Because what is a stamping celebration without chocolate?

Thank you for visiting me.  I hope you have been inspired by the projects I have presented today.
